The protagonist, Mike, stumbles upon Crying Man and ends up summoning the titular superhero from the book, forever changing his life. In season 2, the boxing hero Kayoh is introduced.
Well, I’m disappointed. I was hoping to see Velma and Daphne putting on some gloves. And couldn’t they come up with a better monster? Like instead of a bland, generic robot, why couldn’t they come up with something like a Mike Tyson zombie, a ghost of a sexist boxer, or a freakin beast? You know, something scary that represents toxic masculinity?
